The Sacred Woman Voyager's retreat will be hosted at a rustic, traditional farmhouse just outside of Bantry, Ireland. An oasis of calm, the property is nestled on the slopes of the mountains with views over the valley & Bantry Bay. The retreat center has access to nature walks, small country roads to walk along, a river close by, and lush gardens to be in allowing for relaxation, reflection, and rejuvenation.
The whole house (2 connected sections) can accommodate up to 16 people.
The main house has 4 bedrooms, a cosy living room with a wood burning stove, a large conservatory/dining area and a spacious well equipped kitchen with tea and coffee included.

The farm is surrounded by nature and the beautiful, wild landscape of West Cork. There are lush gardens, a lovely river, and forest walks just down the road, with a river beach for swimming on sunny days. Options and items that are included but not limited to: nourishing homemade meals, excursions to ancient cultural sites, trips to the river beach, mindful/somatic movement, ecotherapy, daily meditation, optional cold plunge, sauna, and massage.
On Friday night, we will go into Bantry for culture night! An annual, all-island public event which takes place each year on the second last Friday of September, Culture Night / Oíche Chultúir celebrates culture, creativity and the arts and seeks to actively promote the belief that this rich and varied culture is alive, treasured and nurtured in people’s lives, today and every day. That evening, we’ll head to the pub for some traditional Irish music. We will also have optional excursions to more small towns close to the retreat center!
Additionally, we'll visit Cork's iconic English Market, a culinary treasure trove dating back to 1788. Immerse yourself in Cork's vibrant food culture as you explore the market's array of fresh, local produce and traditional Irish foods, alongside international delights.

We will be providing round trip transportation to the retreat center from Cork city, which is a little over an hour drive (70 kms). People will be responsible for arranging their own transportation from the airport to Cork. We will provide detailed directions on how to travel to Cork from Dublin or Shannon airport.

With a fully equipped kitchen on the property, there will be homemade, wholesome meals made onsite with mindful ingredients and local, fresh produce. There will also be snacks, tea, and coffee available.

We’re starting the retreat off with a vibrant bang by visiting Bantry's Friday market, exploring local treasures and enjoying a delectable lunch. Once we arrive at the retreat site - enchanting Hagal Farm - you'll be welcomed and shown to your cozy rooms before embarking on a guided tour of the serene grounds. The evening will feature a mindful circle, a sumptuous dinner, and a magical Culture Night celebration, setting the perfect tone for our transformative journey ahead.

Day 2 of our retreat begins with an orientation to connect deeply with our space, the land, and our community. We’ll start with an inspiring opening ceremony, followed by an edible nature walk where we’ll explore local flora. In the afternoon, enjoy the tranquility of a river visit and a rejuvenating sauna session. To cap off the day, prepare for a mesmerizing sound immersion surprise!

On Day 3, we honor the equinox and embrace the seasonal shifts through sacred practices that explore our feminine seasons, cycles, and archetypes. The day includes a powerful Equinox Ceremony to deepen our connection with nature’s rhythms. In the evening, join an optional excursion to a nearby pub for an authentic experience of Irish life and traditional music.

Day 4 will be about taking in the magic of Ireland's ancient sites and natural beauty. We’ll begin with the mystical Kealkill, then wander through the serene Glengariff National Park with its lush forests and captivating waterfalls. Then we’ll explore the historic town of Castletownbere, visit the enigmatic Dereenataggart West Stone Circle, and marvel at the towering Knockaneroe Standing Stone.

Our excursions will seamlessly blend with our daily offerings of meditation, movement, and downtime at the retreat site. Join us for a rejuvenating beach excursion on day 5, starting with the scenic beauty of Sherkin Island. Then, explore the charming coastal village of Baltimore before heading to the vibrant town of Skibbereen. Embrace the coastal charm and refreshing sea air on this delightful day by the shore.

Prepare for a day filled with joy and reflection. There will be a fun surprise and activities focused on play and integration. In the evening, we'll come together for a heartfelt closing ceremony.

On our final day, we gather for a joyous departure brunch, sharing one last meal and reflecting on the transformative journey we've experienced together. It’s a time to savor the connections made, the insights gained, and to say our goodbyes before we part ways.
